About
Talks is a Spanish application that publishes online talks for free distribution around the world. Its objective is to disseminate valuable content without users having to pay to see it and the main topics it addresses are technology, design and well-being.
Visual System
A digital product is like a person. Its foundations are what make it recognizable. Components give it life and functionality, while tokens ensure it retains its essence, even as it evolves through changes and iterations.
I have become familiar with the key concepts and tools needed to create an optimal design system.
The look and feel are grounded in brand identity.
I worked on the development of the design system and the creation of the project library in Figma.

In this challenge, several decisions were made to build the visual system of the application.
Typography: The “Acumin Pro” typeface was chosen for its legibility, neutrality, and sober tone. Headlines and subtitles were set in semi-bold to make them stand out.
Color scheme: A standout color was chosen, along with a base color and a contrasting one, to create visual balance.
Spacing: A spacing system based on multiples of 4 was implemented to ensure consistency and visual coherence, as well as ease when adapting any components if necessary.
Components: Modular and geometric structures were used to provide visual stability and avoid confusion between sections. The CTA was highlighted through contrast in shape, with sharp edges and no border radius.


Landing Page
The landing page was designed to align with the brand’s colors, typography, and overall style.
